CreateImageFile method deprecated?

Apr 15, 2012 at 11:08 PM

Is the "CreateImageFile" method of the "Renderer" class no longer available?  I was following along the example under "Saving QR code to file" in the Documentation section of this site and this method doesn't appear to be present.

Many thanks in advance. ;-)

There are two renderer class, one is under Gma.QrCodeNet.Encoding.Windows.WPF, the other one is under Gma.QrCodeNet.Encoding.Windows.Controls.

It's very messy. CreateImageFile method only under the one inside namespace controls.

As I reply to you under another post. There will be a major update this week. Which I rewrite not just control, but also for all renderer. One thing that I want to state will be CreateImageFile will not be there in any renderer in the future. You will be use WriteToStream instead.

Simply create FileStream with path stick in, and pass that stream to WriteToStream method will do.

For example

Using(Filestream stream = new Filestream(path, filecreatemode.create))

{

// code here that pass stream to renderer.

}
